From 1988 to 2007, as an entrepreneur, an investment of finances, time and energy were made to build and operate several printing companies. Extensive knowledge in the industry, managerial skills, budgeting and accounting expertise, human resource management and customer relations was gained. Growth and development came as a result of acquiring and managing larger operations and advancing to a high quality full-service local, regional and nationally recognized printing facility. With the economic slow-down in recent years, companies cut back printing, moved toward in-house operations, and began to focus marketing efforts toward the Web and electronic/digital media, altering the purchase of printing media. This challenged me to seek a new career path. The following are printing company ventures embarked upon, demonstrating my initiative and persistence to achievement.
